Like many people on Prince Edward Island, our story is rooted in family, home, and the realization that as life changes, people sometimes need a little extra help protecting the things that matter most.
Our family spent most of our lives living off-Island, but PEI was always home in one way or another. Three generations of our family spent summers on PEI enjoying the beaches, the attractions (Rainbow Valley & Woodleigh Replicas to name a few), and eventually, we all made the decision to move home as a family and put down roots here permanently. My parents retired here in 2011 and currently reside in Summerside. Myself and my sister moved back in 2017 and 2019 to be closer to our aging parents and enjoy the slower pace of life PEI has to offer. And lastly, our children made their way to the island as well.
The move changed how we looked at property ownership, community, and what people truly need when they can’t always be physically present themselves.
Understanding What It Means To Be “From Away”
Because we lived off-Island for so many years, we understand the reality many PEI property owners face.
Some people own seasonal cottages and vacation homes but live in another province. Others inherited family properties they want to protect but can’t check regularly. Many vacation rental owners are trying to manage guests, contractors, weather events, and maintenance issues remotely.

We understand those concerns because we’ve lived that reality ourselves.
Our goal was never to create a large corporate-style property management company. We wanted to build something local, dependable, and personal — the kind of service we would want ourselves if we were away from our own property.

Our family also understands the vacation rental world firsthand.
My son owns and operates an Airbnb property himself with his finance, so we know the challenges that come with managing a property, responding to guest issues, coordinating cleanings and maintenance, and handling emergencies quickly when guests are involved.
